On Tuesday, February 18th, IBEW Local 15 President Chris Riser, attended the onboarding at Commercial Center in Oak Brook for the newly hired Locators. President Riser spoke to the 37 new hires before Business Reps Shawn Wachter, Mike Keating, Mike Quirk, Bernard Robinson and Brad Gritt gave a presentation to the locators. The new hire presentation gave information on the IBEW, Local 15, benefits, working conditions, the grievance process, and the temporary Locator Pilot agreement. President Riser and Reps also answered questions the Locators had.
The locators finished the onboarding and are now going through extensive locating training to prepare them to start locating in Lake County beginning April 1st.
