On Monday, July 8th, Hurricane Beryl hit Texas impacting more than 2 million customers. 120, Local 15 Overhead members, headed south to assist in the restoration process. The crews are stationed at Tomball ISD Stadium in Tomball, Texas.
The crews have worked 16 hours per day, replacing broken poles, repairing downed wires, and replacing damaged primary and secondary equipment. The crews have dealt with heavy vegetation issues, along with high heat and humidity. Our crews are heading home today, July 19th.
