CC&B Project Staffing Agreement Concludes

The CC&B Project Staffing Agreement concluded effective August 12, 2024.  This agreement, negotiated by Senior Assistant Business Manager, Mike Freeman, and Business Reps Fabian Vela & Lisa Sims, offered temporary conversion opportunities for regular Part-Time CSRs to Full-Time status for a 6-month term to support the company’s implementation of the new Customer Care and Billing system.

The agreement allowed for PT CSRs to be canvassed to voluntarily convert to Full Time Status for the period of February 12, 2024, through August 12, 2024.  Converted Employees committed to work full-time schedules for the duration of the Temporary Conversion Period. This included working overtime, as required. In exchange for the Converted Employees’ commitment to working 40 hours per week along with OT as required, they gained eligibility to select from the full complement of Full-Time benefits which the Company offers to FT employees represented by the Union. These benefits included additional selections for Medical, Dental, Vision, MBA, and Basic and additional life insurance. Converted Employees were also eligible for prorated vacation time and floating holidays during the Temporary Conversion Period that they can use until the end of the year. Contributions to the cash balance plan for Converted Employees were also increased during the Temporary Conversion Period and made based on a 40-hour work week schedule, equivalent to the contributions made for FT CSRs.

CSRs returning to Part time status have 30 calendar days to make their selections once they receive enrollment materials. They can enroll, either online or they can call the service center.  If they do not enroll, they will default to what they were enrolled in prior to the temporary move to FT.
